My daughter and son-in-law have bundled quitting smoking and dieting. (Everyone tells you you'll gain weight when you quit, so why not be proactive?) My daughter says planning and preparing the meals, in which they both participate, keeps their minds off cigarettes! They're doing great - no smoking and steadily losing weight.

My resolution for year 2010 : To take good care of those people, who are in need of basic amenities (food/shelter/dress/education).
I'm looking forward to put the $1000 sweepstakes money for those who are financially not sound enough (especially for education) !

I am determined to loose 75 lbs and to regain my strength and build up my business since a major auto accident. I have lost plenty of income and clinetel due to an auto accident and being self employed it is even harder. I am a single mom and things have been very very rough. So this is my year to turn it all around.

My New Year's Resolution is that I will try to make a difference everyday by controling any negative thoughts that happen to come into my mind. A person is a product of his or her thoughts. I want to be happy and hopeful. It starts with me. I will not let petty inconveniences such as stoplights, long lines, and rude people be my masters. I will avoid negativism and gossip. Optimism will be my companion. I will make a difference today and each day into this new year. I will be greatful for each 24 hours before me when I wake up every morning. And even if I am not feeling physically well, I will run through all the things I am greatful for and pray for guidance from God in everything I do. Today I will make a difference. This new year I will make a difference.
