New Year's Resolutions

I don’t normally make resolutions, but this year I feel compelled to commit to the following:  1)  Find a new job (have been laid off for a year now); 2) Grow more in my spiritual life; 3) Find new cost savings to improve the family budget; 4) Be hopeful for this year and thankful for the blessings I have.

Regretfully, I am giving up nude skydiving.

New Years Resolution

That's a good one, I need to be more punctual too.  I think that will be my resolution this year.

New Year's Resolution

To enter as many online contests from my favorite companies in the hopes of actually winning once!  Happy New Year everyone.

Oh...and to eat better and exercise more!  :smileyvery-happy:

entering online contests

It takes a lot of time to enter contests online, but I have actually won a few decent prizes.

People say I'm lucky, but you can't win 'em if you don't enter!

A new sort of Chrismas

Our family began to finally put into practice this Christmas what we had long talked about--making the gift giving sensible.  We made 50 quarts of pickles and 30 quarts of apple butter.  We used organically grown pickles and apples and even included fair trade sugar--it made them taste wonderful.  We included custom labels that expressed our desire to wish Jesus a happy birthday and spread the cheer.  How wonderful it was to give away so many heart felt gifts to all sorts of people during the Christmas season.  We plan on doing even more pickles and apple butter next year!
